Legalization of Danish documents

Make sure to have your Danish documents legalized by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen and the Vietnamese Embassy in Copenhagen before you travel to Vietnam.

The Vietnamese authorities often require that Danish documents to be used in relation to company establishments, employment, marriage, divorce etc. have been legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the Vietnamese embassy in Denmark.

Since Denmark acceded to the Apostille Convention in January 2007, Danish documents can only be legalized by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs by a so called Apostille stamp.

The documents then have to be forwarded to the Vietnamese embassy in Copenhagen who confirms the signature from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Therefore it is very important to have your documents legalized by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen and the Vietnamese embassy in Copenhagen before travelling to Vietnam.
