Celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Vietnam

In celebration of the 50 year anniversary of Vietnam-Denmark diplomatic relations a number of events are held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hue.

• January – May 2021: Denmark in Your Eyes painting contest for all students from both primary and secondary schools.

• May 2021: Presentation of ‘The Fairy Tale Journey’ exhibition and a training seminar ‘Trends in Danish Picture Books’ for Vietnamese young illustrators, in cooperation with Kim Dong Publishing House.

• May 2021: Presentation of the ‘A short story about the Danish contemporary interior design and culture’ exhibition and a seminar onDanish Vietnam contemporary interior design in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

• August 2021: The Danish Film Weeks with the screening of 6 Danish films in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Hue and Da Nang.

• September 2021: Presentation of the ‘Sustainable and Liveable Denmark’ exhibition and a seminar on Sustainable and Liveable Cities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city

• November 2021: Danish band Moi Caprice performing at the Monsoon Music Festival.

• November 2021: a Gala performance at the Hanoi Opera Theatre celebrating 50 years of friendship and partnership between Vietnam and Denmark.
