Denmark In Your Eyes Painting Contest (DKIYE) 

The Denmark In Your Eyes Painting Contest 2024 (DKIYE) is planned to be launched in Vietnam from October this year and the Danish Embassy is calling for sponsorship. 

The first Denmark In Your Eyes competition, co-hosted by the Embassy of Denmark and the Vietnam – Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA) took place in 2016 during the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark. The competition has since then been organized on an annual basis – with a new theme each year and always with a strong focus on the environment and the green agenda.

The last Denmark in Your Eyes Painting Contest’s theme was ‘Green Future’ and received an overwhelming participation from elementary and lower secondary school students nation-wide in Vietnam. More than 21,500 paintings and artworks were submitted from 256 schools and clubs in 42 provinces and cities. 

The deadline for confirmation of interest is 30th August 2024.
