MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE FAROE ISLANDS

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, municipal elections will be held in the Faroe Islands. As an eligible voter residing in Vietnam, you can now vote at either the Danish Embassy in Hanoi (BIDV Tower, 7th Floor, 194 Tran Quang Khai Street) or at the Danish Trade Office in Ho Chi Minh City (No. 505, Centec Tower, 72-74 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District 3).

The municipality must receive your postal vote no later than Election Day, Tuesday, November 12, 2024. To ensure that the Danish delegations in Vietnam can send your postal vote in time, we recommend that you cast your vote with us no later than Thursday, 31 October. No voters who come to cast their postal vote after this date will be rejected, regardless of the risk of the vote not arriving in time.

Voting necessitates an in-person visit to the Embassy in Hanoi or the Trade Office in Ho Chi Minh City during our office hours:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00-11:30 and 12:30-16:00

Friday: 9:00-11:30 and 12:30-14:00

Please remember to bring valid photo identification (passport or driver's license).
