The 2023 Denmark In Your Eyes Painting Contest (DKIYE 2023)
The 2023 Denmark In Your Eyes Painting Contest (DKIYE 2023) is planned to be launched in Vietnam from September this year and the Danish Embassy is calling for sponsorship.
The first Denmark In Your Eyes competition, co-hosted by the Embassy of Denmark and the Vietnam – Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA) took place in 2016 during the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark. The competition has since then been organized on an annual basis – with new theme each year but always with a strong focus on the environment and the green agenda.
The recent Demark in Your Eyes Painting Contest’s theme of the contest was ‘Green Living’ and received overwhelming participation from elementary and lower secondary school students nation-wide in Vietnam. More than 18,000 paintings were submitted from 30 provinces and cities.
The deadline for confirmation of interest is 20th August 2023.
